About Mountain View

Mountain View is a 19 bed facility in the small rural village of Maungatapere and provides Rest Home level Care.  Residents of this welcoming and comfortable home enjoy an outlook of the surrounding countryside and the mountain Maunga Tapere. The village has a cafe, church, school and community facilities and is only 8 minutes from Northland Base Hospital and 10 minutes from central Whangarei.  

Each Resident has a personalised bedroom, access to communal dining and social lounge, TV, internet access and a covered outside area for sunshine and fresh air or a family BBQ.
